About Us

Gamarjoba is the front door to Georgia's startup ecosystem — made in the United Kingdom, built for Georgia and its diaspora.

Why we exist

Georgia is home to extraordinary builders, designers, developers, and entrepreneurs. Yet for many first-time founders, especially those outside established startup networks, knowing where to begin can be difficult. The ecosystem is growing, but much of the knowledge, mentorship, funding opportunities, and community remains fragmented and difficult to navigate.

Founders begin with Pikria, an AI founder committee designed to help validate ideas, explore opportunities, identify risks, and recommend what to do next. From there, Gamarjoba connects people to mentors, builders, investors, resources, and community.

The goal is simple: help people move from uncertainty to clarity, and from idea to ecosystem.

Gamarjoba means "hello" and derives from the word Georgian word for"victory" and is used as a greeting to wish a person a victorious day! We believe every great venture begins with a first conversation and grows through the support of a strong community.

Quick hello from the founder

Mariami Basharadze, founder of Gamarjoba

Born in Georgia, raised across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden as a child refugee, and now building a career in B2B SaaS sales in London for the past 8 years - Gamarjoba came from lived experience.

Growing up between cultures meant learning early what it feels like to navigate systems and find footing in places where nobody had drawn a map, and to carry a deep connection to a country while feeling far from the resources that could help contribute to its future.

The Georgian startup ecosystem has extraordinary talent. What it has lacked is the infrastructure to connect it- a place where a first-time founder can validate an idea, find a mentor, discover funding and meet the people who can help them build - all in one place with the help of an idea validator.

That wall, hit one too many times, became the inspiration for Gamarjoba.

The platform began as a 48-hour build during SheBuilds Season 03, Lovable's global hackathon for women builders - accepted into the Social Impact category out of 3,300+ applicants. But the vision had been forming for years.

Gamarjoba is the front door that should have always existed.  And it's just the beginning, with hopes of becoming a blueprint for other under-represented nations.
